An interview on Sabre’s technology journey with Garry Wiseman was our most popular read this week. The discussion focused on artificial intelligence (AI) and the bid to become the intelligence layer in the AI era.

A session from Phocuswright Europe 2026 by Filip Filipov, CEO of OAG, also attracted eyeballs. In a lightning presentation he argued that the next operating system for travel won’t be search based.

And we brought you coverage from HITEC 2026 with senior reporter Morgan Hines in attendance. Executives from Aimbridge Hospitality, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and Another Star discussed AI’s potential impact on distribution and guests.

It was Climate Week in London and simultaneously temperatures spiked in the capital and across much of the U.K., rising to an uncomfortable 97 degrees Fahrenheit. For both reasons, it seemed like a good moment to publish an interview from the PhocusWire studio with Travalyst CEO Julie Cheetham.
