Airbnb co-founder and board member Joe Gebbia may have a new role with the U.S. government: Chief Design Officer.
President Trump issued an executive order Thursday that creates the new job, and it's been reported that it will go to Gebbia.
If appointed, Gebbia will recruit creative talent and consult with government executive departments and agencies to improve the design of their websites.
Gebbia has already been working to redesign the look and feel of the federal government's retirement system for the Department of Government Efficiency.
