We had more coverage of our Center Stage sessions from Phocuswright Europe 2025 with a panel on digital ID developments in and the role of AI agents. The European Commission's digital wallet initiative comes into effect next year and experts discussed the impact on travel suppliers and consumers.
Alix Boulnois, chief commercial, digital and technology officer of Accor, was also on Center Stage at the event in Barcelona last month. She spoke about the hotel group's tech transformation with a new central reservation and property management systems being implemented. Boulnois also discussed how the mindset needs to change across the industry from service provider to "orchestrator of experiences."
And, we looked at how Wyoming managed to drive more travelers and revenue to the state through a connected TV advertising campaign. The initiative not only enabled the Wyoming to target a travel audience but generated $115 million for the destination.
